Who we are
ReSync is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Alla Tadevosyan (ԹԱԴԵՎՈՍՅԱՆ ԱԼԼԱ ԳԵՎՈՐԳԻ ԱՁ), registered in the Republic of Armenia under number 286.1608051, tax number 75780612, at Yeghbayrutyan St. 14, apt. 64, Shengavit, Yerevan 0069, Armenia.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean ReSync. "You" means the person using the service.
By using ReSync you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Who can use ReSync
You must be at least 18 years old.
2. Your account
You need an account to search, send invites, or use workspaces. Keep your password private and let us know at support@resynchub.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Researcher profiles
ReSync has two kinds of profile.
Some are created by researchers themselves. Others are built by us from publicly published academic information, so that researchers can be found and can claim their profile when they join. Our Privacy Policy explains where that information comes from and how to have a profile removed.
4. How you may use ReSync
Use ReSync to find research collaborators and work with them.
Do not:
- Copy, export or collect researcher data from ReSync in bulk, by any method
- Use anything you find on ReSync to send marketing, recruitment or other unwanted messages
- Sell or share researcher data from ReSync with anyone else
- Send messages that are abusive, misleading, or sent in bulk without genuine interest in collaborating
- Get around search limits or other restrictions
- Try to access accounts or systems you are not meant to access
- Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your position or publications
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it so that ReSync works.
We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
6. Paying for Pro
Who takes your payment. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, tax and invoices, and their terms apply to the transaction.
Prices. ReSync Pro costs $12 per month, or $96 per year. Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added at checkout depending on where you are.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. We email you before an annual subscription renews.
Cancelling. Cancel any time in your account settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part of a period you have already started.
Refunds. See our Refund Policy.
Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before any price change affects your subscription. You can cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry it and pause Pro features. If it stays unpaid, we move the account to the free plan.
7. Universities and organisations
Access bought by a university or company is covered by the agreement we sign with them, which takes priority over these terms for their users.
8. Our rights in ReSync
Apart from what you write, everything in ReSync, including the software, design, text, logos and the ReSync name, belongs to Individual Entrepreneur Alla Tadevosyan or is licensed to us.
You may use ReSync for your own research and professional purposes. You may not copy it, resell it, or build a competing service from it.
9. The service itself
ReSync is new and we are still building it. We may change or stop features. We cannot promise it will always work without interruption.
We do not guarantee that profile information is accurate or complete, that a search will find the right person, or that anyone will reply to you.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using ReSync and delete your account at any time in your settings, or by emailing support@resynchub.com.
We may close your account if you break these terms, if your use creates legal or security risk, or if the law requires it. If we close a paid account for a reason other than you breaking these terms, we refund the unused part of your current period.
11. Limits on our responsibility
ReSync is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities.
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to whichever is greater: what you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.
12. If your use causes us a problem
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used ReSync, what you posted, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
13. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes go to the courts of Yerevan.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of your own country's consumer law and can bring a case in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and email Pro subscribers at least 30 days before important changes.
